August 5 Election - Important Dates to Remember

Voter Registration

Tuesday, July 22 through August 5 until 8:00pm - A person may register to vote in-person at their local Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.

Early Voting

Saturday, July 26 through Sunday, August 3 - Early In-Person Voting available at the Novi Civic Center (45175 W. 10 Mile Rd.) from 8:30am-4:30pm, except Thursday, July 31st when hours are Noon-8:00pm.

Mailed Absent Voter Ballot Request Deadline

Friday, August 1, 5:00pm - Deadline for voters to request an absent voter ballot to be mailed via first class mail.

In-person Absent Voter Ballot Request Deadline

Monday, August 4, 4:00pm - Deadline for registered voters to request an absent voter ballot in-person at the City Clerk’s Office. Ballots must be voted in-person at the City Clerk’s Office.

Registration & Absent Voter Deadline

Tuesday, August 5 until 8:00pm - A person registering to vote in-person at the Novi City Clerk’s Office may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot with proof of residency or vote in-person at their proper precinct.

Polls are open 7:00am through 8:00pm. All voters in line at 8pm will be able to vote.
