City of Novi REGULAR MEETING OF THE NOVI PLANNING COMMISSION ROLL CALL: Canup, Churella, Kocan, Koneda, Landry, Mutch, Nagy, Piccinini and Richards The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioner ’s presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.No person, other than a Commission member, shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation). The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission by Laws and Rules of Procedure. ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT 01-18.170 An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 97-18, as amended, the City of Novi Zoning Ordinance; footnote (u), subparagraph (1), of the Schedule of Regulations contained within Section 2400 of said Ordinance, relating to height requirements in an OST District; and to amend subpart 2509.6(g), relating to berms, in order to clarify the requirements of the OST District when adjacent to residential districts. 2. ZONING MAP AMENDMENT 18.605 The proposed rezoning of 45.616 acres in Section 14, located south of Twelve Mile Road and west of Meadowbrook Road. The applicant is seeking a positive recommendation from Office Service Technology (OST) to High Density Multiple Family Residential (RM-2) or any other appropriate district. 3. PROPOSED GAS STATION SP 00-52A This project is located in Section 15, located on the south side of Grand River Avenue and west of Novi Road. The 0.69 acre site is zoned Town Center (TC-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval, Woodland Permit approval and Section Nine Façade Waiver. 4. VISION SPA & SALON SP 01-23A This project is located in Section 16, located on the east side of Beck Road and south of Grand River Avenue. The 2.55 acre site is zoned Office Service District (OS-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval, Woodland Permit approval and Section Nine Façade Waiver.
