The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioners presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.

 

No person , other than a Commission member , shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation).

 

The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission by Laws and Rules of Procedure.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

OAKLAND BAPTIST CHURCH SP 00-41

This church project is located in Section 29, on the west side of Beck Road between Nine and Ten Mile Roads. The 6.9 acre site is zoned One-Family Residential District (R-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Special Land Use Permit approvals and Section 9 Façade Waiver.

MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION

1. TIMBER MEADOWS SP 99-15

This multiple family project is located in Section 16, on the east side of Beck Road and north of Eleven Mile Road. The 45 acre site is zoned Low -Density, Low-Rise Multiple-Family Residential District (RM-1) and High-Density, Mid-Rise Multiple-Family Residential District. The applicant is seeking a Section Nine Façade Waiver.

NOVI CROSSINGS SP 99-31

This commercial building project is located in Section 15, on the northwest corner of Novi Road and Grand River. The .833 acre site is zoned Town Center (TC-1). The applicant is seeking a landscape waiver.

 

3. TED ANDRIS RETAIL DEVELOPMENT SP 00-33

This retail building project is located in Section 3, south of Fourteen Mile Road and east of East Lake Drive. The 2.07 acre site is zoned General Business District (B-3). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval.

 

NOTE: The Planning Commission will have an additional audience participation period after their mid-point break.
