REGULAR MEETING OF THE NOVI PLANNING COMMISSION WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2000 AT 7:30 P.M. COUNCIL CHAMBER - NOVI CIVIC CENTER - 45175 W. TEN MILE ROAD (248) 347-0475
ROLL CALL: Canup, Capello, Cassis, Churella, Koneda, Mutch, Piccinini, Richards, and Watza The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioner =s presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.
No person , other than a Commission member , shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation).
The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission by Laws and Rules of Procedure.

PUBLIC HEARINGS ACE BUILDING SP 00-10 This warehouse and office building project is located in Section 22, on the south side of Grand River Avenue between Taft and Novi Roads. The 2.59 acre site is zoned Light Industrial District (I-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Wetland Permit approvals. QUALEX ADDITION SP 00-37 This 10, 000 square foot addition project is located in Section 35, at Nine Mile and Novi Roads. The 9.32 acre site is zoned Light Industrial District (I-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Special Land Use Permit approvals. 3. CLEMENTS INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY SP 00-39 This office warehousing project is located in Section 35, north of Eight Mile Road and west of Meadowbrook Road. The 3.62 acre site is zoned Light Industrial District (I-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Special Land Use Permit approvals.
CONSENT AGENDA HENDERSON GLASS ADDITION SP 99-25 This project is located in Section 23, on Novi Road and north of Ten Mile Road. The 1.6 acre site is zoned Light Industrial District (I-1). MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION BEST WESTERN SP 00-06 This hotel project is located in Section 14, at the northeast corner of Eleven Mile Road and Town Center Drive. The 1.87 acre site is zoned Office Service Commercial District (OSC). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval. 2. NOVI CRUSHED CONCRETE SP 00-18 This concrete recycling facility project is located in Section 9, on the north side of Twelve Mile Road east of Beck Road. The 10-acre site is zoned Light Industrial District (I-1) and General Industrial District (I-2). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval.
NOTE: The Planning Commission will have an additional audience participation period after their mid-point break.
