The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioner's presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.

 

No person , other than a Commission member , shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation).

 

The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission by Laws and Rules of Procedure.

  1. ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT 18.160

An Ordinance to add Subsection 1903.12 to Ordinance No. 97-18, The City of Novi Zoning Ordinance, to permit auto body repair shops as a principal use in locations not abutting a residential district and subject to special conditions.

  2. This medical office building project is located in Section 1, on the southwest corner of Fourteen Mile and Haggerty Roads. The nine acre site is zoned Office Service Technology (OST). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval.

  3. TURLEY INVESTMENT SP 99-46
  4. This office and warehouse project is located in Section 35, north of Eight Mile Road and west of Meadowbrook Road. The .8 acre site is zoned Light Industrial (I-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval.

  5. AMESON DEMBS SPEC. BUILDING SP 99-62
  6. This light industrial building project is located in Section 9, on the west side of Magellan Drive in the Beck West Corporate Park. The 4 acre site is zoned Light Industrial (I-1). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval.

  7. AMENDED PLANNING COMMISSION WORK PROGRAM AND BUDGET PROPOSAL: FY 2000-2001

Presentation by Planning Department Director Jim Wahl and Planning Consultant Rod Arroyo.
