The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioner=s presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.

 

No person , other than a Commission member , shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation).

 

The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission by Laws and Rules of Procedure.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

1. CABOT TECHNOLOGY SP 99-59

This office building project is located in Section 12, west of Haggerty Road and north of Twelve Mile Road. The 7.86 acre site is zoned Office Service Technology (OST). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Woodlands Permit approvals.

2. NOVAPLEX SP 99-32

This office building project is located in Section 12, on the west side of Haggerty Road, north of Twelve Mile Road, and south of Thirteen Mile Road. The 22 acre site is zoned Office Service Technology (OST). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan, Woodlands, and Wetlands Permit approvals.

 

CONSENT AGENDA

  1. BEARING SERVICE SP 97-59

This corporate office and warehouse project is located in Section 15, on Grand River Road. The 11 acre site is zoned Light Industrial (I-1). The applicant is seeking a one-year extension of the Final Site Plan.

MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION

1. CODE OF ORDINANCES TEXT AMENDMENT 99.100.26

An Ordinance to amend Subpart 28-6(2)b.3 of the Novi Code of Ordinances, to allow a business closest to a thoroughfare a wall sign although the business’s entrance does not face the thoroughfare.

 

  1. MAPLES MANOR 98-57

    This senior housing development project is located in Section 2, on the southwest corner of Fourteen Mile and Novi Roads. The 4.67 acre site is part of the Maples of Novi development and is zoned Residential Acreage / Planned Unit Development (RA/ PUD). The applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan approval.
